SMART Recovery Family & Friends helps those who are affected by the substance abuse, drug abuse, alcohol abuse, or other addictions of a loved one.
SMART Recovery Family & Friends is a science-based, secular alternative to Al-Anon and Johnson Intervention. Their method is based on the tools of SMART Recovery and CRAFT (Community Reinforcement Approach & Family Training).

About SMART Recovery: SMART stands for "Self Management and Recovery Training." SMART Recovery(R) is a support group model that offers peer support and skills building. Run by trained peer facilitators, SMART Recovery groups empower people to make positive changes in their life for any struggle they may have: substance misuse, anxiety, depression, anger, etc. You will learn tools and techniques for: Building and Maintaining Motivation; Coping with Urges; Managing Thoughts, Feelings, and Behaviors; and Living a Balanced Life.
