LIVE WEBINAR PANEL: Mental Health & Substance Use Recovery Stories

It’s important for people living with mental health conditions to know that they are not alone. Sharing a story about your mental health challenges can help in your own recovery as well as offer encouragement and support to others with similar experiences. Sharing your story also helps promote understanding and empathy to those without mental illness.

That’s why this Recovery Month we’ve partnered with Join Rise Be, another peer-run initiative in Connecticut for young people, to host a live panel event on Zoom of young people in Connecticut who know what it’s like to struggle and want to share their experiences with others. You will hear stories of resiliency, patience, and bravery as the panelists (TBA) discuss the steps they took on their journey to recovery from mental health and/or substance use.

Tune into the event via Zoom webinar or Facebook Live (Like our FB page HERE)

  • Wednesday, September 8th at 3:00pm-4:00pm
