during this time we have been getting texted and video chatting with people we might not usually talk to that often and family members constantly talking to us out of boredom. during these times its more important than ever to set up boundaries to make sure we are in a good place. what are some boundaries that you have setup, and ones that you feel you need to work on setting up?

Thanks for bringing this up Skyler, as I know this is an issue for many people who are currently working from home. When it comes to setting boundaries for work, I try my best to separate one world from the other even if I am working from home and my worlds have basically collided. Basically, I will only focus on work tasks during the times that I am set to work unless it’s a a once in a blue moon kind of thing, and put it out there that I have preferences for keeping my alone and family time respected.
As for family, I still think the same could work. Maybe by being able to state that you are working, or are using your time for something else they could know that you can’t be talked to or disturbed during that time frame.
Have you tried doing anything that has helped you with any of this?
yes setting the boundaries between work and home time has been crucial, getting tasks done during my work time has been a main priority and I shut out every distraction that under my control! that is some really great input Luz!
