So I’m actually going back to school soon and I usually have a playlist handy that gets me through each semester. Because, as we all know, life gets us down sometimes and usually music saves the day. I usually tend towards slow-soft music, mostly soft-rock and pop but my playlist is non-discriminative, except for my mood. So there are some new songs I really like and I have started creating my own list:

I’m not usually a fan of country music, but I like this song because of the lyrics. It’s pretty much just like “let’s just trust the universe to lead us to who we are supposed to be with” and that everything else that is supposed to happen, will. 🙂

As far as new songs or artists, I’ve been hooked on Griselda. Rap group from Buffalo. Names are Westside Gunn, Conway The Machine, and Benny The Butcher. They have that old school 90’s grimy Wu-tang sound. Its hard to even say they are New Artists because of their style, as well as them separately putting out multiple solo projects throughout the early 2000’s. They have a Record Deal with Shady Records, and a Distribution deal through Rocafella. Rza and Raekwon have dubbed them as the modern day Wu-tang. Lyricism is insane, Conway and Benny are no joke. Extremely talented and the lyricism is insane. Benny The Butcher is so Raw, kills any track I’ve listened to. And Conway The Machine flows effortlessly no matter the beat. Also The Alchemist does so much of the production.
