Thank You for Sharing

This film is about sex addiction but can easily be applied to any other addiction. It is one of the best cinematic portrayals of addiction that I have EVER seen! It stars Mark Ruffalo, Gwyneth Paltrow, Pink, and Josh Gad. It shows where the disease of addiction can lead us and the stigma that many in society have towards addicts.

Movies are the perfect way to get people talking.. I love when I hear about movies that highlight different aspects of mental health. Wait , whats the name of the movie?

I will def check on Netflix and see if its on there. I am a big Gwyneth Paltrow fan !

Rai, the movie she is referring to is called “Thanks for Sharing.”
I ended up watching it over the weekend on Netflix because I love to watch movies people recommend. It was a great movie and I could see how addiction of any sort can fit right into this movie.
Gwyneth Paltro did a phenomenal job, so you will love it!

If any of you have any recommendations on movies, I would love to check it out.

Another one of my favorites is “Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind”
It stars Kate Winslet, Jim Carrey, Kirsten Dunst, just to name a few.
It gives a great perspective of how life is and what happens if we tried to erase and change the way things happened. I tend to get a little sad watching it because it makes me think often about how I would want to change my past, but I do realize I wouldn’t be where I am today if I didn’t experience what I did.

I liked both of these movies! Like Valerie said, I get that whole perspective thing. They really do a good job of expressing the emotions the characters were feeling and were both really honest movies. It kinda shows in both of them just how imperfect the world and we are. And that there is nothing wrong with that.
