An exercise scientist explains why you shouldn’t do sit-ups or crunches:

Besides push ups, crunches are the one type of exercise that I can do conveniently right out of bed.
Any thoughts on this? How about hanging leg crunches, do you think this makes up for not doing crunches?

I love any article that tells me not to do crunches haha. The only crunch i’m familiar with is captain crunch 😉
But seriously I want to make it a goal to exercise for real. I walk a few times a week, but beyond that, there is always resistance when I try to get serious.
I think it is all about balance, even if you don’t do specific exercises. I would rather say that I walk, eat decently well, have social time, have downtime, go to work, and pursue goals.
I am absolutely someone who can easily get locked into thinking that one way is the “best” and “only” way to do things, which can mess me up and halt progress.
I missed so many days if execize since school restarted… so forget it lol. I am way behind on my exercize routine. I am planning on doing dumbell biceps and triceps going forward, everything else has to wait until semester end.
But Captain crunch (def) loool. 🙂
