Thanks for sharing this Luz.. I came across the same article a while back. I am so thankful to have read this again because it’s so important.. it just really shows that we can get another chance at something… that there is a purpose in everything. I’ve never met anyone personally who has survived an attempt but I feel like I have. Everyone who gets a second chance at life, please look at that as blessing. You have a purpose… You are not alone.

Thank you for sharing your insight. I definitely agree with you that there is a purpose for everyone, no matter what. I also believe there is great power in saying or feeling that you or anyone having survived a suicide attempt, for it gives a different view on reality. It goes to show that we’ve had too much to deal with at some point and couldn’t take the pain anymore because we saw no way out, but at the same time we have now grown to the point that we see alternatives and options. We have evolved, we see a future. We can now see how capable we really are, despite any pain and feelings of despair that may come up. We now know there is hope and can somehow, someway, shine that hope onto others. 🙂
