Hi All,
How do you feel about the first snow fall? I feel like it’s kinda early!
I don’t mind the snow, orginally being from Maine I am so use to it.
What are your favorite things to do during winter?! Here are my top 3!
1. Going to look at Christmas lights around town
2. Decorating the house
3. Drinking hot cocoa and watching Frosty the Snowman!

Hi, Torry! I’m definitely a winter-body so I never mind the snow until – well – I have to shovel. Then you start getting sick of it!
My favorite things to do during winter are definitely very similar;
I like staying at home, curled up with my dog in front of the heater and a nice warm mug watching old timey Christmas movies ( White Christmas, anyone? ). Sometimes I’d be drawing or reading instead. Sometimes I’m talking to gram. I really like watching the snow too, it makes me nostalgic, in a way. I also love helping gram decorate the house with garland and small lights and snowmen and angels– She really goes all out! The Holidays are also the time when gram bakes like CRAZY so I definitely hover around the kitchen either trying to help or trying to steal some cookie dough 😛
I am getting way more excited for the winter than I ever have before!! I think i’s because it’s all so new and exciting for Willow, so I get to experience it through her eyes. Usually, Winter is a hard season for me. But this year, I’m looking forward to the holidays, especially since this is Willows first Christmas that she really is aware of everything!! That’s awesome. Plus I’m looking forward to playing in the snow with her, drinking warm things and being cozy 🙂
