Just as Inky Johnson went through such a difficult moment in his life that completely altered his reality, many of us go through struggles in our everyday lives as well. In the end though, it is not about what it is that happens to us, it is what we do with those things that happen to us. We can choose to remain stuck in the cycle of self-pity, despair, and sorrow or we can choose to rise up from any and all circumstances and serve as an example to others.
