I can’t speak for everyone, but odds are, everyone on this forum has overcome or is currently dealing with intense or personal situations. It is going through those struggles that has helped develop self awareness, intelligence, and empathy, among many other attributes. I know my developed emotional awareness has helped me deal with heavier topics from a younger age…
But sometimes I can get caught up in overthinking. Like, EVERYTHING!!! :0
From the guy in the elevator at work who you think talks crap about you, to how no one responds to your texts in a timely fashion, which makes me think no one really likes me.
So, to help pull me out of a funk, I just have to Remember to LAUGH!
I literally need to remind myself not to take everything so seriously. I just try to find something to laugh about. For me, I pictured Joan Rivers as Gollum from Lord Of The Rings or Dancing animals to Beyonce’s Single Ladies. Whatever it takes, be sure to give yourself permission to laugh!
PS. Check Out this video to start laughing 🙂

I agree, Michael! Laughter is the best medicine. I personally love watching the penguin short film “A Christmas Caper.” For some reason, I die laughing every single time I watch it.

Also, soaking up adorableness by looking at cute animals…especially baby animals.
Laughter alwayyys helps me. No matter what’s going on when I start laughing it is totally a relief. You gotta remember not to take yourself and life too seriously!
