    Torry,

I feel like this is definitely something that I should get in the habit of doing more often. With that said, today I am grateful for:

    -It being Friday!!!
    -The holiday season
-getting a lot of things accomplished
    -family and friends
-great things to come in 2018!!! 🙂

I just want to take the time to be thankful for the things I feel like I take for granted or maybe I just don’t think twice about because I don’t notice that there are in fact people out there that don’t have the bare minimum. I am grateful for a home, the fact that I have a bed, food in the fridge, running water, clothes on my back, a family who supports me, a working car and reliable transportation, health insurance and access to medical care, technology at my fingertips, a job, the ability to learn easily and the right to receive an education, amazing friends, a right to speak up when things are bothering me, the ability to go to sleep in peace and know that when I wake up I will still be safe, the fact that I can be myself and practice whatever religious beliefs I choose without being persecuted. There are just so many things that I feel like are part of my everyday life that when I look around at the rest of the world and what they unfortunately lack, I can’t help but just be thankful.
