The Southeastern Mental Health Authority (SMHA) is both a provider of behavioral health services and responsible for administering all Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (DMHAS) contract funded behavioral health services in Southeastern Connecticut.Ô_ Programs and services are recovery focused and help people who experience psychiatric disabilities manage their symptoms and achieve their own vision of healthy and productive lives as citizens of their communities.
Through access to a continuum of treatment and support services, persons can achieve the goal of a meaningful and quality life including stable housing, employment, higher education, and access to health care.Ô_ Success is measured in the improvement of the lives of the persons served.
