Silver Hill's teen Transitional Living Program provides highly structured, intensive treatment and on-site-living for adolescents who are ready for more behavioral and psychological interventions. The program is designed to help adolescents continue their recovery process until they are ready to return home for further community-based treatment.

Treatment interventions include various forms of group and individual therapy and often medication. A school program takes place on weekdays. Families are required to participate in the weekly family group meeting.

The minimum length of stay for this phase of treatment is 4 weeks, and many patients extend their treatment. This program is self-pay _ã_ a small portion may be covered by insurance. Our staff will help you determine if you have this benefit.

The vision of our teen treatment programs is to establish a collaborative relationship with each of our patients, their families and their clinicians in the community. We will build on these connections to help the patient and the family to achieve a meaningful and lasting life course correction.
