The PACES Program addresses the special needs of deaf and hard of hearing children and youth whose emotional or behavioral challenges prevent them from being served in more traditional programs. This program applies Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) to Residential Treatment. PACES involves comprehensive services such as individual treatment/behavior intervention, family services, assistance with transition to a less restrictive program, psychiatric consultation, medication management, occupational and physical therapy services, as well as audiology, speech, and communication services.
