Within the last week or so, I’ve become obsessed with a few “new” songs (new to me haha) and so I’ve gone through the ritual of replacing my go-to songs with some new “obsessions”.

Top 3 songs right now for me come from Roddy Rich, a cool hip hop artist from Compton. He has such a unique sound and I cannot stop listening to his album. I’ve also been listening a lot to the Migos. Two of the members, Quavo and Takeoff, released their own single albums separate from the group and they really have some jams!

I have very… eclectic tastes; I’ll listen to everything and anything. But so far I’ve been listening to things by Bishop Briggs to get into the writing mood ( or any mood really haha! ). And then there’s a song called ‘Adderall’ by Max Frost that I’ve come to appreciate for the pegs it takes at medication and things. I also really like the song, ‘O.K. Fine’ by Clover Girl which does the same thing, saying that shit’s been real crazy but we’re still going to say we’re fine regardless. Some songs that aren’t in that range would probably include things by Prince. Or maybe the song, ‘Come with me Now’ by KONGOS.

Currently on my playlist, been listening to a lot of Outkast and Mobb Deep. OutKast has 5 classic Hip Hop albums and such Iconic songs. I suggest listening to “ATLiens” and “Aquemini”
Those are 2 amazing Outkast Albums. The songs “Da Art Of Story Tellin (Part 1) and Da Art Of Story Tellin (Part 2) are incredible songs. Also the song “Elevators” and “Synthesizer”. Just a few songs. Also the song “Bombs Over Baghdad” by OutKast on the Album “Stankonia” is amazing.
As for Mobb Deep The Albums “Infamous” “Hell On Earth” and “Murda Muzik”. Pretty much everything is fire on all 3 albums.
