Best place/town for fire works?

When I lived in Maine the 4th of July was the best possible day you could live or be on the beach. My family owns a condo on the beach, and where it is located you can see 7 different towns put their firework display on. It’s breath taking!

I haven’t been to any fire works in CT, but have heard that the Hartford Riverfront is fun.

Is there any towns/cities you think would be worth checking out?

I would say Norwalk, but only because I live here and I am biased. But, Block Rock in Bridgeport also has a great fireworks show on the Fourth of July. As you would expect, it gets really crowded but while I was living there, they always put on a great display.

My parents live in the suburbs near Mohegan Sun, and from their roof (easy to climb onto from our back porch) we got private seating where we could see all the fireworks. To be honest it has been a while since I have seen a real fireworks show – summer is always busy both in the day, plus I take summer courses so it hasn’t left me time on some nights.

I have heard Groton does a good job with their fireworks too!
