Hi All!
NAMI Connecticut is offering a FREE training for young adults who would like to facilitate a peer-run support group.
Our first state-wide training with the new YA Connection Model will be on Tuesday, March 27 from 9AM-4PM at the Southwest Regional Mental Health Board!
Too far? Does the date not work for you? Don’t worry!
We will be hosting more trainings throughout the year in various regions of the state – and we can train on weekends too!
Please email me at youngadultcoordinator@namict.org and I can email you the application.
Hey Valerie! Thanks for sharing this sounds awesome!
For those who are interested and can come down to Norwalk for the training, TurningPointCT is in the same building!! We’d love to meet you!
I have a flyer with all of the information, but it won’t allow me to post on here.
Thanks for sharing! I will spread the word!
Here is the flyer everyone!!
Some people didn’t get the flyer in their email properly so here it is again 🙂

Great, thanks for sharing this! We will post it through out network as well!
The training was great! Thanks so much Val!

TurningPointCT.org was developed by young people in Connecticut who are in recovery from mental health and substance use issues. We know what it’s like to feel alone, stressed, worried, sad, and angry. We’ve lived through the ups and downs of self-harm, drugs and alcohol, and the struggle to find help.
