Connecticut Turning to Youth and Families is having a fundraiser at the Ridgefield Playhouse Friday September 26th.  They are hoping to raise funds to support two major initiatives for 2014-2015:

• Resulting from advocacy efforts, CT has a brand new law in 2014 (Act 14-­‐7) to build a Statewide Recovery Plan for Young People – we now have to be active and assertive until 2016 to make sure the law’s intent is fully realized
• Launch a brand new Community Resource and put recovery supports on the map throughout CT (see Mapping Platform not yet public: http://www.ctyouthandfamilies.org/geoctyf)

Connecticut Turning to Youth and Families (CTYF) is a statewide organization established to strengthen Connecticut’s prevention, treatment and recovery services for youth and families facing drug or alcohol abuse problems. Members of CTYF are youth and families, who have their own family stories dealing with addiction.  They offer strength, hope, and a voice for youth and family healing.
