How annoying is it when your best just doesn’t seem to be good enough. How awful does it feel when it seems that the people deciding your fate both raise the bar of expectations and then because you just don’t quite reach them they lower them. When that happens to me (and it happens often) I often feel worst about myself. I don’t know if anyone can relate to this but if you can thank you for validating my experience. I validate you as well and I say I’m sorry that you felt that way. I also want to tell you this -Don’t give up even if it feels like all you do is wrong or fall short. Just remember that even if you didn’t do a good job if you gave it your 100% that’s all that matters. Sometimes all we can do is our best. When you have better you can do better!
I can say that I experience the same problem everywhere I go. I always feel like I’m not good enough and that I can do better. What we need to remind ourselves is that no matter what you do, if you’re giving it your all you are always winning. Like you said as long as you give it your 100% that’s all that matters. It’s hard for me to realize this because people say negative things to me all the time telling me I can’t do anything and that I’m always messing up. I just need to not take it personal and just keep telling myself at least I tried and that’s all that matters
