TED Talks

I love watching motivational videos and hearing success stories of those who have overcome it all. TED talks, in my opinion, are amazing because they educate the viewers, but many of them also inspire the audience to work on themselves, share their ideas with the world, etc.

For example: Guy Winch, a doctor in psychology, talks about emotional first aid and how we need to practice taking better care of our mental health just as we do for our physical health.
This is one of the best TED talks I’ve seen because I connected extremely well with everything he discussed and took in the tools and tips he gives to the audience so I can better myself too.

    Hi Val!

I Love Ted Talks! They definitely motivate and inspire me. I also listen to some educational/motivational radio at least once a day. I prefer to listen in the morning and evening as part of my ‘success routine.”

I love TED Talks! My philosophy professor showed a video in class recently about the philosophy behind romantic love. I love how informative and passionate each TED speaker is about the topic they each talk about. I have been watching TED Talks since that day in philosophy class.

One of my favorite ted talks that ive come across was one by Elyn Saks about what it is like to live with paranoid schizophrenia. It really opened my eyes to some of the problems that I face and have faced in my life and I feel a new energy for recovery after watching her and seeing how successful she has been.

This is not a TED talk but it is a very inspirational true story. The book is called Cracked Not Broken by Kevin Hines. He basically tells his story of how he came to jump off the Golden Gate Bridge and somehow survived.
