“Do the best you can until you know better. Then when you know better, do better”. Maya Angelou
I love this quote because it applies to every situation in my life. I am an emerging adult with two precious little beings looking to me for support and guidance every day. That can be intimidating because I wonder what if I teach them the wrong ways, what if I make a mistake, It will be the worst ever and they will never forgive me. In this quote, I find hope because I know that even if I do make a mistake or two I did the very best I could at the time. All that really matters is the lesson I have learned and if I do better than I did before.
I love this quote. Maya Angelou was one of the most powerful and influential female figures this world had the privilege of knowing. I love that you’ve found a quote to live by, and that makes you an amazing and powerful woman! Doing your best is doing the best you can for the world.
I feel like this is a wonderful quote to live by. It sort of goes hand in hand with a quote that I like to keep in the front of my mind that states “you don’t know what you don’t know.” It’s definitely about doing the best you can with what we have and know in the moment. Once we come to the realization that something we may have been doing is wrong, we now know we should change and act in a different way. We can only do with what we have!
This is a great quote! It really resonates with me. I am always giving 100% towards everything I do. Even if I’m not the best at what I’m doing at least I’m trying my best.
