I’ve found that one thing that helps me to continue moving forward on my journey of recovery is when I can practice being mindful and staying in the moment when I’m not having the best of days. One thing I like to do is look at the things around me and focus on their details as a way of staying present.
With this being said, I invite you to pick three colors within your current surroundings and state at least two things that are that color near you. I’ll go first ๐
Pink-
My sticky notes
My phone case
Black-
My laptop
A picture frame on my desk
Red-
A bowl on the cabinet containing flash drives
A pack of index cards
What can you identify within your current space?
This activity has helped me out so much, I figured I’d do it again today ๐
Red
The curtains next to me
Duck tape on the AC
A Nike Shirt next to me
Black
My laptop case
My nails
My TV
Purple
My pillow case
My hair clip
Dil Pickle’s shirt on my rugrats poster
