Eliza, thank you for sharing a bit of your heart with us. I am deeply saddened by the loss of Kate Spade. I am so sad that her pain was so deep, so painful. I cannot even imagine the hell that Kate went through in her own head. I hope that her family can find comfort knowing that she is no longer in pain, no longer suffering. I hope that, in light of something so awful, we can end the stigma attached to mental illness. Mental illness does not discriminate- mental illness doesn’t care if you are rich or poor, black or white, male or female. I am certain that Kate’s daughter will be able to carry on her legacy- I pray that she doesn’t suffer the pain her mom endured. I pray she can find peace.
