STARS, Students Teaching About Responsible Sexuality, need your help with getting the word out! STARS is a peer education program for high schoolers that meets 2-3 times a month after school to talk about and learn about different topics around sexuality that they would then share with their peers at their schools. The program is running successfully in Bridgeport, Hartford, New Haven, New London, and Providence for a while and they are hoping to expand to Stamford. Check out the flyer and post here if you would like the application for the program. The deadline to apply is May 31st. Students can email the application or drop it off at the health center located on 35 Sixth Street in Stamford.
Please share with teens that would enjoy and benefit from this program or that want to be more involved with Planned Parenthood.
